Why We Use NSF Approved Polyurethanes

As mentioned in our previous blog post, The Importance of NSF Approval

The National Sanitation Foundation develops public health standards and certification programs that help protect the world’s food, water, consumer products and environment.

In a lot of cases, it’s very important to make sure the products a contractor uses on your property meet NSF/ANSI 61-5 standards for contact with drinking water. This testing covers all products that are usually used in or around drinking water from source to tap.

While the polyurethanes we use rarely come into contact with drinking water, this level of safety certification ensures that the cured product poses no threat to the environment.  Once installed, these high strength polyurethanes will be supporting your slab or structure for many years to come.  Make sure the contractor you choose for your project offers NSF approved lifting and soil stabilization material.
